“It was at the height of the pandemic when we started this shout out business to provide a platform for celebrities to still be able to connect and engage with their fans. Little did we know that in no time, we will become this big in just one year.” says PH lead for Ace, Frank Briones.
During the live media digital event hosted by Frank Briones and ACE CEO Dene Schonknecht, the two executives shared the one-year milestones of the company to include how the company is leading in the category for markets such as the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and India. They are also creating a major traction in their US given the roster of talents in their platform to include the biggest Netflix stars and top athletes.
But the key highlight during the event is the announcement of Pia Wurtzbach, 2015 Miss Universe as the biggest star of ACE globally.
Pia donated all her proceeds from ACE amounting to P 200,000.00 to her chosen charity which is the WWF Philippines. An additional amount of P 50,000.00 was added up to her donation courtesy of her ACE family.
“I got involved with WWF at the start of the pandemic last year and I did a lot of fundraising activities with them.” Pia also added, “I’m happy because a lot of people were involved, and if they can, or maybe spare a little bit, they donate to WWF. And they are a very reputable institution so you know that your donations go to very good hands.”
Of course, all the guest panelists from the media caught up with Pia and asked her about matters of the heart and her plans for the future.
One notable and “kilig” moment was when she said that she once sang for her current beau, Jeremy Jauncey the song “Especially for You” by Kylie Minogue and it was apparently the sweetest thing anyone has done for him.
Asked about her plans for the future, she made mention that she is currently working on honing her business skills as she plans to launch a product that will fulfill the need of women nowadays. Something she is very excited about, but couldn’t divulge the full details yet.
