Manila, Philippines – This February 19, 2026, Admiral Hotel Manila – MGallery Collection opens its doors—and its heart—for a celebration rooted in compassion, community, and meaningful change. Aptly called “Happy Got’cha Day,” the event marks a milestone moment in the hotel’s continuing commitment to social responsibility, animal welfare, and creating memorable experiences with purpose.
At the center of the celebration is Adie, a once-rescued dog whose journey embodies hope, resilience, and second chances. What began as an act of kindness has grown into a story the hotel proudly shares—one that now becomes part of Admiral Hotel Manila – MGallery’s identity.
“Adie has brought so much joy and warmth to everyone at Admiral Hotel Manila – MGallery,” says Janine Taylor, hotel’s general manager. “Our guests and associates look forward to seeing her, and her story has inspired conversations about compassion, adoption, and the power of second chances. Celebrating Adie is our way of honoring that impact and sharing it with the wider community.”
A Commitment Beyond Hospitality
One of the highlights of this milestone day is the official handover of a PHP 100,000 donation to Pawssion Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abused and neglected animals. The donation underscores the hotel’s long-term commitment to giving back and supporting organizations that share the same values of empathy and responsibility.
This meaningful gesture is paired with the official “gotcha” day and signing ceremony for Adie, formalizing her adoption and welcoming her as the hotel’s beloved rescued dog. More than a symbolic act, the ceremony represents a promise—to advocate for animal welfare and inspire others to choose adoption.
Advocating Adoption, All Month Long
Extending the celebration beyond a single day, Admiral Hotel Manila – MGallery will continue its partnership with Pawssion Project to host a month-long pet adoption drive throughout February. Five (5) dogs will be available for adoption, giving guests, patrons, and the wider community even more opportunities to open their hearts and homes to deserving companions.
Guests are invited to visit the hotel to view the dogs’ profiles and, if they wish, meet them in person throughout the month. In addition, a merchandise display will be set up from February 19 to 28, 2026, featuring shirts, bandanas, collars, leashes, human bracelets, and stickers in celebration of the initiative.
With this, the hotel aims to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership and highlight adoption as a life-changing choice—for both humans and animals alike.
Spearheading a Cause
Leading the initiative behind Adie’s Day, Elitha Bondoc, Performance and Project Manager & Executive Assistant to the GM, emphasizes the deeper purpose of the celebration.
“This initiative goes beyond a single event—it’s about creating meaningful connections and giving our rescued pets the visibility and care they deserve. From the adoption drive to the Foster-cation program, every effort is designed to show that small acts of kindness can create lasting impact. Seeing our guests and associates engage so wholeheartedly with Adie and the cause has been truly rewarding.”
Introducing the Foster-cation Experience
In line with MGallery’s philosophy of offering meaningful and immersive experiences, Admiral Hotel Manila will also introduce its Foster-cation Package—a unique and compassionate initiative that allows guests to foster a dog for a weekend within a controlled and supportive environment.
The program will place special focus on senior dogs, who often spend longer periods waiting for homes and have limited opportunities to experience dedicated care and affection. Through Foster-cation, these dogs are given a chance to feel loved, relaxed, and truly seen—while guests enjoy a purposeful stay that creates a lasting emotional connection.
A Story Worth Sharing
“Happy Got’cha Day” is more than an event—it is a reflection of Admiral Hotel Manila – MGallery Collection’s belief that luxury hospitality can coexist with compassion, advocacy, and heart. By celebrating Adie’s journey and supporting Pawssion Project, the hotel reinforces its commitment to creating stories that matter and experiences that leave a positive impact.
This February, guests are invited not just to celebrate—but to care, to connect, and to be part of a story where love finds its way home.
