MANILA, PHILIPPINES – June 25, 2025 – Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) officially launched its highly anticipated New Generation Excavators in the Philippines with a grand event at the Metrotent Convention Center. The launch, which drew approximately 400 attendees from the construction, mining, contracting, and local government sectors, marked a significant milestone for the Philippine heavy equipment industry.
The event was graced by high-ranking representatives from Volvo CE, led by Mr. Tomas Kuta, President of Region Asia. Hosting the successful launch were executives from the exclusive local dealer and event organizer, including Mr. Anthony Ngo, President, Mr. Eduardo Lim, Executive Vice President, and Mr. Ronald Yao, Head of Unit Sales.
Attendees were treated to an in-depth product presentation delivered by Mr. Mu Peng, Product Manager of Volvo CE, who highlighted the advanced features and capabilities of the New Generation Excavators. Following the technical showcase, Mr. Gab Serquiña, Civic’s Product Manager, proudly unveiled TVI Resource Development Phils. Inc. as the very first customer in the Philippines to use the New Generation Excavator for the company’s Siana Gold Project – signifying strong market confidence in Volvo CE’s latest offering.
