Commemorating the heroic event that continues to live on till this day, on October 18 and 19, the annual Leyte Liberation Golf Cup sponsored by BingoPlus, was held at the San Juanico Golf & Country Club in Tacloban, Leyte.

The annual Leyte Liberation Golf tournament is known to celebrate and pay tribute to the Leyte Gulf Landing that happened during World War II in the Philippines, when General Douglas MacArthur fulfilled his promise saying: “I shall return”, coming back with the Allied Forces, marking the beginning of freedom for the Philippines.
In a tournament that showed sportsmanship, participants of the sport enjoyed two days of competitive golf, honoring a legacy of courage and liberation for the country. This year’s event was proudly sponsored by BingoPlus, staying true to its commitment to support the grassroots program in promoting the development of golf in the Philippines.
Aside from the competitive spirit, the tournament commemorates the historical significance and sportsmanship among players, as they played through the course with the winner to be awarded with the Leyte Liberation Golf Cup. The event was more than just a golf event, it is a testament that continues to inspire and unite through sports.
In line with the golf sponsorship and the ongoing tournament, BingoPlus X International Series Philippines Music Festival took place at the Aseana City Concert Grounds in Parañaque last October 25. The music festival featured live performances from the international electronic dance music (EDM) artist Alan Walker who is playing and visiting the Philippines for the first time, Apl.De.Ap of the Black Eyed Peas, Kiara, and OPM favorites: Parokya Ni Edgar, Bamboo, and many more. From the front to the back of the event, interactive booths and lounges were placed on the concert ground with giveaways from the International Series and BingoPlus given to everyone at the event.
