Jollibee’s new Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 2 store marks the brand’s first airport store in Hong Kong, reflecting the brand’s continued international expansion through strategic, high-traffic global locations.
MANILA. May 28, 2026– Jollibee, one of the flagship brands of global restaurant company Jollibee Group, has opened the newest branch at Hong Kong International Airport (“HKIA”) Terminal 2. It marks another milestone in the brand’s international expansion as it grows its presence in key global travel hubs.
Located inside one of the world’s busiest airports, the new branch allows Jollibee to reach a broader mix of international travelers, and consumers passing through one of Asia’s key travel gateways each year.
The airport branch forms part of the Jollibee’s broader push to grow in major international travel and commercial hubs, where strong foot traffic and global visibility create opportunities to strengthen brand presence and reach new customers.
“Hong Kong International Airport is an important gateway for travelers from around the world, making it a strategic location for Jollibee to bring the brand closer to new and diverse customers as we continue to expand internationally,” said Jollibee Group Global CEO and President Ernesto Tanmantiong. “We extend our appreciation to both the Jollibee Global and China teams for bringing to life our first airport store in Hong Kong—an innovative and welcoming space thoughtfully designed to delight the diverse, multicultural travelers journeying through Hong Kong International Airport.”
Located at the Food Hub before Departures on Level 7 of Terminal 2, the branch operates 24 hours daily and features a travel-inspired design created specifically for airport travelers. Its storefront resembles a giant suitcase, decorated with visuals inspired by destinations that highlight Jollibee’s growing international presence.
The branch also introduces self-service kiosks and mobile ordering to provide customers with a faster, more convenient ordering experience while on the go.
Building on strong demand in Hong Kong
The airport opening builds on Jollibee’s longstanding presence and strong customer following in Hong Kong, where the brand first opened in Central in 1996. With the addition of the HKIA Terminal 2 branch, Jollibee now operates 28 stores across Hong Kong and Macau.
Known globally for its signature Chickenjoy fried chicken, Jollibee continues to resonate strongly with Hong Kong consumers. Research from NielsenIQ in November 2025, cited by the company, showed that surveyed Hong Kong residents preferred the product’s crispiness and juiciness.
Alongside core menu favorites such as Chickenjoy fried chicken, Jolly Spaghetti, and the Jollibee Chicken Sandwich, the airport branch also offers Hong Kong-exclusive items, including the Calamansi Tea Soda, developed to cater to local tastes.
Jollibee Group Global CEO and President Ernesto Tanmantiong added, “Hong Kong continues to be an important market for Jollibee, and this airport location further demonstrates our ability to operate at a world-class standard—enabled by robust systems, a deep commitment to operational excellence, and strong teams that allow us to consistently deliver the joyful Jollibee experience wherever we are in the world.”
The new store opening comes amid Jollibee’s continued strong momentum in Hong Kong. Recently, Jollibee Hong Kong was named “Best Quick Service Restaurant” at the Foodie Forks 2026 Awards by Foodie, a renowned food magazine, further underscoring the brand’s growing popularity and strong connection with consumers in the market. The recognition reflects Jollibee Hong Kong’s commitment to delivering great-tasting food and joyful dining experiences while continuously expanding its reach across the region.
