A massive crowd of 1,404 athletes took on the recently concluded Sip Plus Games 2026. The two-day hybrid race attracted 756 male and 648 female competitors, along with passionate spectators cheering on friends and family. The atmosphere was electrifying, boosted by a special appearance from Physical: 100 Season 2 standout, Hong Beom-seok!
Athletes tackled a nine-loop course built entirely in-house, closing with an added final run after Wall Balls before the finish line. Unlike Hyrox, the course also folded in Devil’s Press and Step-Ups among its functional stations, giving Sip Plus Games its own distinct stamp on the hybrid race format.
“We didn’t want the field to relax until they crossed that line — that’s why we added the run after Wall Balls. Every loop was built to test something different, and the last one had to hurt the most. That’s the whole point of ‘Cross Your Limits,'” said Raquel Bartolome, organizer of Sip Plus Games.
Every finisher took home a Sip Plus Games 2026 finisher’s patch as a small, wearable reminder of the hybrid games they’d just conquered.
Just outside the finish line, local skincare brans Hello Glow ran a bright pink, locker-style station stocked with dry shampoo, towels, and finisher essentials! Sweat-soaked and spent from that final run, participants spritzed on some Hello Glow dry shampoo for instant freshness, then striked a pose at the aesthetic locker display, with pictures printed on the spot as finish-time keepsakes!
“Having run this race myself, I knew exactly what kind of activation I’d appreciate. I knew my hair would be so greasy from sweating through nine loops and eight functional stations, so freshening up mattered. I also wanted a nice souvenir I could take home, something that reminded me of the hard work and finish time. That’s how the activation was designed,” said Denice Sy, Founder of Hello Glow.
Also at the exhibitors area, personal care brand Blackwater ran its “Capture the Win” activation, which paired its deo body spray with a free photo print at a branded backdrop, finish times displayed live on screen as each participant crossed the line. The freshness angle covered both ends of the race! Athletes could spray their Blackwater Horizon Deo Body Spray before their gunstart, and another once they completed the race!
“Hybrid fitness is such a hyped-up space right now, and it’s exactly the kind of energy we want athletes to feel every time they reach for Blackwater. Our Horizon Deo Body Spray isn’t just functional with reliable 48-hour odor control, it carries a scent that makes you feel more confident to take on any challenge. It’s the perfect fit for Sip Plus Games athletes,” said Kimberly Barrozo, Brand Manager, Blackwater.
Between the finisher energy at the Blackwater photo wall and the pastel chaos of the Hello Glow lockers, the mood at The Filinvest Tent, where the race was held, stayed high across both days! Sightings of Hong Beom-seok definitely helped, as he generously spent time meeting with fans and competitors alike!
