Asialink Expands Housing Finance Network as Philippines Addresses 3.7 Million Housing Need Through 2028

MANILA, Philippines — As the Philippines works to address an estimated 3.7 million housing units needed through 2028, Asialink Finance Corporation is expanding its housing finance network through partnerships with four real estate developers, giving qualified property buyers an additional financing option as the country works to widen access to homeownership.

The partnerships with Philippine Estates Corporation, Ferti-Acres Inc., Masaito Development Corporation, and Vester Corporation expand Asialink’s network of accredited property developers and bring its real estate financing solutions closer to prospective homeowners.

The expansion comes as housing supply and financing remain key components of the country’s broader homeownership agenda. From July 2022 to June 2026, the government facilitated the delivery of 575,693 housing units, with 368,731 families assisted through government housing financing programs, highlighting the role of financing in helping translate housing supply into homeownership.

Against this backdrop, Asialink is strengthening its role in the housing finance market by expanding the financing pathways available to qualified buyers of properties offered by its developer partners.

“The housing challenge is not only about increasing the supply of homes. It is also about making financing accessible to qualified Filipinos who are ready to take the next step toward homeownership,” said Anna Katrina C. Bañez, President and Chief Executive Officer of Asialink Finance Corporation.

“By expanding our network of accredited developers, we are bringing financing options closer to prospective buyers while helping our partners connect qualified customers with a financing solution. These partnerships are part of our broader commitment to make financing more practical and accessible for Filipinos pursuing homeownership,” Bañez added.

Through its Acquisition of Property facility, Asialink provides qualified borrowers with financing of up to Php20 million for the purchase of residential properties from accredited developers.

Interest rates are as low as 0.58% per month, subject to credit assessment, property evaluation, loan term, and approval. Processing fees apply, and rates may vary depending on whether the account is sourced directly from developers or endorsed by accredited brokerage firms or agents.

Asialink also offers Housing Unit Take-Out Financing, where qualified homebuyers can finance their property through Asialink. Under this arrangement, Asialink pays the property developer in full, allowing buyers to complete their purchase and repay the amount through manageable financing terms. Additional loan proceeds may also be used for business or personal purposes.

Together, these financing facilities allow Asialink to support different stages of the property-buying journey—from acquiring a residential property to completing the financing of a housing unit purchased from an accredited developer.

The expansion of Asialink’s developer network forms part of the company’s broader strategy to grow its housing finance business and strengthen its presence in real estate lending.

Since launching its Real Estate Financing service in 2025, Asialink has released more than Php27.7 million in housing loans to qualified borrowers as of August 2026.

The company expects its growing network of accredited property developers to support further expansion of its housing finance portfolio while giving more qualified Filipinos access to an alternative financing route for residential property purchases.

For developers, the expanded network also creates an additional financing channel that can help qualified prospective buyers move from property interest toward completed purchases.

“Our goal is to continue building a housing finance business that responds to how Filipinos actually pursue homeownership—by working with property developers and providing financing options that can help qualified buyers move forward,” Bañez said.

The four new partnerships reinforce Asialink’s strategy to make housing finance more accessible while expanding its role in the country’s evolving real estate and housing finance ecosystem.
