SMC, Gov’t break ground on Pasig River hybrid expressway project
San Miguel Corporation (SMC) president Ramon S. Ang leads government officials during the official ground breaking rites for the 19.37-kilometer Pasig River Expressway (PAREX), the first-of-its-kind green, hybrid expressway that will help ease congestion in Metro Manila as it will connect the Radial Road 10 in Manila to the C-6 Road or the South East Metro Manila Expressway (SEMME) in Taguig City. Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, DoTR Sec. Arthur Tugade, and DPWH Undersecretary for Planning and PPP Service Maria Catalina Cabral attended the event held yesterday along the Pasig River in Pandacan, Manila.
