Since arriving in the Philippines over 43 years ago, Avon has made beauty accessible for all through affordable, high-quality products.
People of all ages wear and use Avon products everywhere from the comforts of home to fashion runways, but there are those who take their love for beauty a step further and turn it into a business. Avon representatives find plenty of opportunities for social selling with the help of the internet, and even more so now that the company has implemented its digital transformation, allowing its sales representatives to continue earning amid the challenges of social distancing.
A rewarding type of beauty
To acknowledge the commitment of their representatives, Avon officially rolled out their new Rewards Program which offers tiered benefits for every milestone unlocked. The program was officially launched at Avon’s annual National Sales Convention program, which was held virtually last October 8, 2021.
This year’s theme is “Angat Avon”, which centers on the growing success of Avon representatives through the power of beauty, opportunities and doing good.
“We move forward: opening up our business to be more digital, reaching more people, making more difference, and continuing to make world-class award-winning beauty,” declares Avon Philippines General Manager Razvan Diratian during his opening speech at the event.
The Avon Rewards Program is set to provide the digital tools, training, and mentorship so that each representative can reach their fullest potential while also reaping the benefits of their hardwork no matter the level.
Different benefits await exemplary and aspiring representatives who may unlock five Status levels – Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Each status requires a specific threshold and will reward special Avon products with each rank achieved. Upon reaching a status, representatives will also enjoy a bigger minimum discount up to a maximum of 40% on all Avon products.
Representatives will also have the privilege to participate in all incentive programs to further expand their earning potential, get exclusive advanced access to new Avon products ranging from 1 day to a month (depending on their current status), access to the Avon PH Academy – and even more respective benefits with each status unlocked. The higher that status, the better the rewards to be earned.
Avon Global CEO, Angela Cretu, through a video message played during the event, emphasized that relationships with representatives are at the heart of everything Avon does. “Each and every representative is an amazing partner for the Avon family, and through Avon rewards, we want to recognize and acknowledge our representatives with their hard work and loyalty,” shares Cretu while introducing Avon’s new program for representatives. “Unlike any other direct seller in the market, we are opening this learning and earning model to every woman to share beauty.”
While the whole program was held virtually, Avon celebrity ambassadors also joined the celebration including Bea Alonzo, Janine Gutierrez, Ruffa, Gutierrez, Iya Villania-Arellano, Paulo Avelino, Gabbi Garcia, and Heart Evangelista. The event was also hosted by TV personality Drew Arellano, and Avon Business Development Manager Josette Dequina.
As Avon moves forward in its 135th anniversary this year, it celebrates a winning spirit, identity, and achievements, and continues to break barriers to level up its business and empower more lives through beauty. “Think we won’t have another 135 years? Watch Us Now!” says Diratian.
