Juggling preschool teaching and writing has taken a toll on my skin. My days are long as I run around the playground, get sweaty under the sun, dismiss my students, and then take a quick shower, and off I go to either a cafe to write or meet a client to interview. Wearing a mask throughout the day and having my makeup clog my pores causes me to break out a lot.
My days are usually long and hectic; having free time to watch my favorite Kdrama is my escape. I have always noticed Kdrama stars’ porcelain-like skin: clear, white, and overall glowing. With today’s technology and Korea’s top tier cinematography, you can certainly see how radiant these Korean actors’ and actresses’ skins are, and you can tell…it could be frequent skincare and visits to the derma. Whatever the secret is, call it what you want, Korean-like glass skin is the dream.
Thankfully, I found a skincare brand (made in Korea!) that’s massively helped me achieve my dream. I’m not writing to promote the product but I genuinely enjoyed using these easy-to-use, effective, products from OMO! White — a Kbeauty skincare brand that offers ‘specific-to-skin type’ products.

AcneClear White Line: Recommended for Oily and Acne-prone skin
Starting with the AcneClear White Face & Body Bar — a glycerin-based face and body bar that helps prevent acne by removing dirt and excess oil. It is also packed with Salicylic acid and Niacinamide, as well as Licorice Root Extract that leaves the skin calm, comfortable, and smooth.
Glycerin-based products overall help in hydration. Since we live in a tropical, humid country, any type of moisture is great to keep our skin feeling hydrated and fresh. The AcneClear White Face & Body Bar is also infused with Salicylic acid and Niacinamide — two of my favorite ingredients that help prevent breakout. My skin is prone to getting whiteheads and blackheads, especially since I’m someone who loves to put on makeup. My pores get clogged easily, so having these boosters to help keep my glow and leave my skin clean are definitely helpful in staying fresh at all times.
The AcneClear White Facial Foam Cleanser is packed with Salicylic Acid and Tea Tree Leaf Extract, Niacinamide and Oat Kernel Extract. Research tells us that Salicylic Acid helps shed dead skin cells from the top most layer of the skin and decrease redness and swelling of pimples. On the other hand, Tea Tree is a great natural source to fight acne. This ingredient is known and accepted for its anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. This cleanser works hand-in-hand with AcneClear White Face & Body Bar. Using both products in your skincare regimen is key to getting the glass-skin glow from head to toe.
After cleansing, it is best to use a toner. AcneClear White Toner, an alcohol-free toner, is recommended for oily and acne-prone skin. It’s been a great source of clearing my dark spots because of its Glycolic acid, Niacinamide, and Lactic acid content.
Also, I use the AcneClear White Sheet Mask around 2-3 times a week, especially during weekends, to give my skin its needed relaxation without the hassle.
Personally, I enjoyed using their Acne Clear White line because it was effective on me during a time I was breaking out, and I noticed that it really cleared my acne marks.

I tried using this for my body and it drastically improved spots on my skin with a little darkness. It was a joy to watch and experience my skin improve.
The Ooh-La-Light White Facial Foam Cleanser carries Vitamin C, Kojic Acid, and Glutathione infused with Licorice Root Extract, Niacinamide, and Zanthoxylum Piperum Fruit Extract to reduce appearance of pores and keeping my skin bright, moisturized, and hydrated. The key to Korean-like skin is looking fresh and clean, even with minimal makeup. This cleanser is promising, especially with the skin-loving ingredients infused to pamper and brighten our skin.
The toner: Ooh-La-Light White Toner’s formula is a dream to use. It’s cold and fresh on the skin because of its fast-absorbent lightweight formula that mildly exfoliates yet massively hydrates the skin to give a youthful, glowing skin. Thanks to its ingredients: Glutathione, Lactic Acid, Licorice Root Extract, and Alpha Arbutin.
For the days that you feel like you need an extra brightening boost, use the Ooh-la-Light White Sheet Mask. It is a brightening sheet mask infused with bioactive brightening ingredients such as Glutathione and Lactic acid.
IntenseCleanse White: Recommended for Normal to Combination skin
IntenseCleanse White Face & Body Bar is also glycerin-based with Activated Charcoal; another sought out ingredient designed to draw out impurities and skin imperfections. It also includes Salicylic acid, Activated Charcoal and Kojic Acid for blackheads and whiteheads, something I mentioned that I personally struggle with given my love for makeup. I use IntenseCleanse White whenever I take a makeup break and I feel I need a deep cleanse.
The IntenseCleanse White Facial Foam Cleanser is supercharged brightening ingredients like Glutathione, Kojic Acid, and Activated Charcoal. It is also infused with Witch Hazel and Tea Tree Leaf Extract to soothe skin and prevent acne, without stripping the skin’s natural oils. Whenever I have days off, I usually use this for a deep cleanse to keep my skin fresh and clean.
The IntenseCleanse White Toner is infused with Activated Charcoal to draw out impurities and blemishes. It also has Witch Hazel Extract Extract and Tea Tree Leaf Extract to soothe skin and calm redness and irritation. I always opt for toners with Witch Hazel because it’s mild yet it does the job!
Don’t forget to add the IntenseCleanse White Sheet Mask to your skincare regimen. It is a purifying sheet mask enriched with Charcoal Extract to improve the appearance of large pores, and Alpha Arbutin to help lighten dark spots. You can use it 2-3 times a week (or even daily, if you want!).
In a nutshell, based on my experience:
For makeup heavy, acne and pore-clogging problems: go for the AcneClear line. For brightening: go for the Ooh-La-Light line. For makeup breaks and deep cleansing: go for the IntenseCleanse line.
To each his own. I am only speaking from my personal experience. Again, I enjoyed using these products because it trims down my skincare regimen from nine-step regimen to only four steps since most ingredients that I use in my nine-step regimen are already infused in all four products that help me achieve my glass-skin goal.
