Lucky Chinatown pays tribute to the Powerful Mom! on Mother’s Day

Lucky Chinatown is celebrating the strongest women in people’s lives this Mother’s Day through an exciting array of activities and surprises. From fresh blooms and curated shopping selections to sweet deals on shopping, dining, and pampering, all moms and mother figures are sure to feel extra empowered and extra special on their special day.

Festivities begin at the DTI Rizal Fair, which features a wide array of gift selections for moms that are proudly made with love by MSMEs from the province of Rizal. The fair is open to all guests at the Lucky Chinatown Atrium until May 8 from 10AM to 9PM.

Lucky Chinatown partners restaurants are also giving all moms a treat with special deals and vouchers available for dine-in guests on May 8.

#PowerfulMoms will also be serenaded for the whole day by Kim Hwa Chinese Ensemble, and be given free Feng Shui parenting tips by Mr. Johnson Chua. There will also be a McDonald’s Family Fun Day with games and prices plus a burger-making activity for the whole family.

Lucky Chinatown also offers a host of dining options for celebrating Mother’s Day including King Chef, San Gou La Mien, Shi Lin, Sincerity, and the newly-opened branch of Popeyes, among others.

Families can also enjoy a one-of-a-kind food trip at Chinatown Walk. They can go food hopping at Asian Street Kitchen and savor a sumptuous snack or full meal at Wai Ying Fastfood, which serves their famous freshly-cooked dim sum, noodles, and other Cantonese cuisines.

For modern Hong Kong-style eats, Sio Cha has White Chicken, Lechon Macau and Roast Duck, Char Siu Asado Rice, and more rice pairings. Those in the mood for Korean can choose from Corndog 28’s appetizing and cheesy flavors. There’s also Bunsikjip Korean Street Food which serves japchae, kimbab, kimari, fish cake, and of course kimchi. Authentic and affordable ramen, sushi, takoyaki, and gyoza options are available at JAP.Street for those craving for Japanese.
