The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) has partnered with San Beda University’s Marketing Lab to pursue “A Structural Audit of the Mismatch between Academic Foundations and Professional PR Practice in the Philippines.”
The Memorandum of Understanding covering the research was signed on April 23 at Solaire Resort North in Quezon City.
As of this writing, the research has already completed three Focus Group Discussions with representatives from PRSP, the International Association of Business Communicators Philippine Chapter, led by Richard Arboleda, and the International Public Relations Association Philippines, chaired by Claire Papa. Highlights of the white paper will be presented at the 33rd National PR Congress to be held on Sept 17 and 18 at Solaire Resort North.
The Marketing Lab is San Beda Marketing Department’s research and consultancy arm, translating academic theory into actionable market intelligence and bridging data with strategic insights. Driving the research is The Marketing Management Department within the College of Accountancy and Business, along with the San Beda Junior Marketing Association.
