MANILA, Philippines — TREYNA Group took center stage and secured top honors at the 2026 Kidlat Awards, led by Chief Creative Officer Abi Aquino’s induction into the Hall of Fame, alongside a Lifetime Achievement Award and Bronze CCO of the Year win.
“It was an extraordinary honor to be part of the Kidlat Hall of Fame. I share this milestone with everyone at TREYNA who turns brave ideas into reality every single day,” said Aquino. “Every award tonight reflects our teams’ relentless courage, curiosity, and ‘kulit’ to push boundaries and create work that truly matters.”
TREYNA Groups’ creative leaders also struck multiple silvers at individual categories: Roman Olivarez for Executive Creative Director of the Year, Mylo de Borja for Creative Director of the Year, Paulo Dela Rosa for Copywriter of the Year, and Adrian De Guzman for Art Director of the Year.
The agency’s big night was further driven by high-impact campaigns that blended social purpose with culture relevance. Leading the tally was “Right to Care: Expanding Healthcare Proxy Nationwide,” an initiative designed to empower LGBTQIA+ and non-traditional couples/families with critical healthcare decision-making rights through legal proxies. The campaign earned Gold for Most Creative Long-term Campaign, Silver for Most Creative Political or Public Service Campaign, and Bronze awards for Most Creative New Product/Service (Re)launch, and Most Creative Causes & Social Good Communication.
“The Knorr Cube Emoji” also garnered two Bronze trophies for Best Digital/Social Advertising and Most Creative Low-Budget Campaign. The initiative cleverly engaged digital audiences by rallying for official emoji representation for the iconic cooking staple, showing how simple cultural insights can drive massive engagement on a lean budget.
“These wins showcase the sheer talent and heart across our entire creative teams,” added Olivarez. “From driving long-term social impact to finding clever ways of representing a kitchen ingredient, our team continues to prove that great ideas win no matter the scale or medium.”
