The shift to Alert Level 1 has brought smiles to many faces in Ayala Malls, among its customers and its staff members. Finally, more and more families are roaming around the malls’ wide open spaces, filling it with laughter and energy reminiscent of the pre-pandemic normal. Simultaneous greetings and back-to-back assistance of multiple store personnel add to the chorus of an actively operating establishment that presents its full range of goods and services from essentials to the most thrilling entertainment.
Stores to explore
Shops and stores are opening doors one by one! On the spotlight is an addition to Greenbelt 5’s roster of premium brands: Dior Beauty. The Maison is a destination for luxury makeup, skincare, and fragrances. It’s the home of must-have products like the alluring Miss Dior Eau de Parfum, a scent personified by actress Natalie Portman, and the Dior Backstage Contour Palette, a favorite among professional makeup artists.
Apart from shopping, mall visitors can savor a gastronomic experience at Paul, a sophisticated bakery and cafe with Parisian roots established in 1889. Now open in Greenbelt 5, diners can enjoy authentic French breads, crêpes, sandwiches, macarons, soups, cakes, pastries, coffee, wine, and beer.
For those craving a taste of Italy, Cibo is now in Bacolod’s Ayala Malls Capitol Central. Meanwhile, sweet milk tea cravings will finally be satisfied as Centrio Mall opens the first Tiger Sugar branch in Cagayan De Oro. For grooming, fitness, and pet care, Ayala Malls also launched Piandre Salon in Ayala Malls Cloverleaf, Kinetix Lab in U.P. Town Center, and Pooch Park in Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
Back to the cinemas
All indoor cinemas and movie houses can operate at full capacity under Alert Level 1. Customers of all ages are welcome to enter, including children. With more opportunities for youngsters to finally reintegrate into society and enjoy the big screen, Disney hosted the Special Advance Screening of Turning Red in Ayala Malls Manila Bay. The family-flick centers on Meilin, a 13-year old girl who turns into a giant red panda whenever she gets too excited. Humorous yet deeply heartwarming, it received claps and happy sobs from the almost-200 movie watchers who attended the event.
Like the rest of other Ayala Malls, Ayala Malls Manila Bay is a Safety Seal recipient, which certifies its faithful adherence to the DOH-IATF’s regulations aimed to minimize the spread of Covid-19 in the country. All Ayala Malls are equipped with technologies that ensure their facilities’ regular sanitation and ventilation. Food and drinks are finally allowed inside Ayala Malls cinemas with quality safety in check.
